Below is a list of websites I have found useful:

FunBrain
FunBrain is a website designed for elementary level students.  The website includes games and activities, mainly in the areas of Math and Language Arts.  This website is a great resource for practicing and reviewing concepts.

NetTrekker
NetTrekker is a search engine designed specifically for school-age students (K-12).  All sites are approved for use and deemed educationally appropriate.  This website requires a log-in name and password that East Ward students should know.

Harcourt
The Harcourt website directly links to the Harcourt Curriculum used at East Ward.  Students can work through activities to support Language Arts instruction.  Students should work on the activities within the current theme and story.

Math Fact Cafe
Math Fact Cafe is a website designed for practice in basic math facts.  Second grade students should be able to easily solve their basic addition and subtraction math facts.  This is a great way to practice!

WebQuest.org
WebQuest.org is a great website for finding WebQuests to use in your classroom.  There are a variety of WebQuests to use at all age levels and subject areas.

Gamequarium
Gamequarium is a website that includes games with a purpose of learning.  The site is divided into age ranges.  Each section has games to fit different subject matter and topics.  This is a great site to use during centers or as a review game.

Awesome Library
Awesome Library is a website that organizes 33,000 websites that have been carefully reviewed for content.  Students can search by topic or by typing in a search.

All Math
All Math is a website that includes a wide variety of Math related games and activities. 

ABC Teach
ABC Teach is a teacher and parent resource website.  It includes a huge variety of printable materials in all subjects and grade levels.  Some materials can be accessed for free, however a membership is required for most.

TeachNet
TeachNet is a teacher resource website that provides lesson plans in a variety of subject and grade levels.
